    Is it possible to render ProRez 4:4:4 with alpha?
    seems that is not an option in the output module.

    (this might be what you were saying, perhaps I misunderstood you)

    yes Adam, I was looking to exclude the whole layer, but having the shadow as well would not be an issue.. I will look into this shadow caster. thx

    Turn ON depth of field for your camera to enable.
    View your comp in the TOP view.
    select the camera and you should see a plane for the focal point.
    (scrub “Focal Distance” value and you can see which plane this is)

    make sure “Live Update” is checked ON.
    (to the far right of your timeline window there is a drop down menu for this)
