You may want to research Walter Biscardi’s experience with trying to get tape in and out of Premiere . He has had an ongoing battle using a variety of hardware like AJA and BMD. I dont think he is very happy with how its working. If memory serves I believe he also uses FCP to digitize of tape when using Premiere. Good luck.

If they have requested Prores that is what you must provide them.Lenny has suggested several ways to do it.

Try unchecking the GPU option then access the GUI and see what happens.

On my HP Z820 I can play 4K files at 1/2 resolution (2K) in real time. I once created a 4 way multi split screen and that played back in real time as well. No Red Rocket, just kick ass computer and Nvidia GTX 570.

Todd, make sure your graphics card driver are up to date. Is this lag seen on the computer screen or an external monitor using AJA or other hardware?

Is the rocket actually moving in AE space? If not, make the background large and move it down screen to increase the illusion of motion.
