The Premiere Pro CS6 (6.0.2) update is available. There are a lot of bug fixes in this update, as well as HiDPI functionality for Retina Display, some new supported GPUs, and Windows 8 certification.

Exciting! Can’t wait to give it a go. Thanks. It’s really great that Adobe is on this forum and can give us updates on the products.

Wow! Even better when I checked my updates – there are updates for Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Photoshop (32 and 64-bit), and Speedgrade. You guys have been burning the midnight oil!

Looks like there’s something wrong with this update because since I’ve updated I have a lot of “A serious error” messages!

If I put a clip into the Source Monitor and press play and then I double click to a clip in a bin I have the error message! I see this on two machines.

Yeah. I just noticed this as well. Guess we should make a bug report.

Just noticed: if you’re running a Mac with an “unapproved” graphics card you will need to re-add the card’s name to the cuda_supported_cards.txt text file.

Thanks for the info, Todd. I’ve gone ahead and installed it, but my OMF exports are still useless (they don’t crash, but they create files with no media in them and I get an error message with the numbers 10 12 14)…so I still can’t use PPro CS6 professionally yet. Everything I do needs to be mixed by an outside audio mixer, so OMF export is essential to my work. Even though this upgrade says the OMF export was fixed, it’s not the case on my iMac. Ah well…

For some reason, I keep getting this error when installing the update on my Mac Pro running 10.7.4 (I also get this same error when trying to install the CS6 Extension Manager update on my Macbook Pro running 10.8.1):

Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 6.0.2 Update
There was an error installing this update. Please quit and try again later. Error Code: U44M1U5

Adobe Media Encoder CS6 6.0.2 Update
There was an error installing this update. Please quit and try again later. Error Code: U44M1U5

I get the error regardless of whether I use the Adobe Applcation Manager/Updater, or I download and run the standalone updaters from the Adobe site.

And of course, I’ve done the requisite Repair Permissions and flushed system caches, but to no avail…
