September 6, 2012 at 9:54 pmI manually edited my supported cards for my GTX 570 which was working fine prior to the update now I no longer have MPE support in this Premiere 6.0.2!

September 6, 2012 at 10:51 pmI also have a GTX570 and added it to the text file. I haven’t had any issues with it. Cuda works great. Only issue I have is the program crashing if I open a file in the bin while the a file is playing in the source monitor

September 7, 2012 at 6:37 pmAlright problem solved, the last CUDA update messed up during the installation. So the card was not being initialized due to a lack of driver. Everything working now on 10.8.1

September 8, 2012 at 12:04 pmDavid, we export OMFs on a weekly basis for our broadcast show from both Mac and Windows based systems for our ProTools artist. Our editing is all native formats across the board. The exports always throw up an error window, but the designer says all the files come in just fine. Sometimes a random file will be missing and he just tells us where that file is and we grab it and send it separately. But as far as being useful, it does work just fine here.
Have you disabled the “Workspace Bar” or whatever it’s called in the timeline and just used the In to Out markers? We always disable the Workspace or Work Area bar in the timelines as it seems to cause some problems for us when exporting.

September 8, 2012 at 12:07 pm[ivan zuccon] “Looks like there’s something wrong with this update because since I’ve updated I have a lot of “A serious error” messages!
If I put a clip into the Source Monitor and press play and then I double click to a clip in a bin I have the error message! I see this on two machines.”
Are you running an external video card like AJA or BMD? Make sure you’re running the latest drivers / plug-ins from those as they can throw up “Serious Errors” too. I really wish we could get an Error Number rather than “Serious Error.” That message is about as useful as “General Error” in FCP.

Agreed. The problem is that an error message that begins with “A serious error…” is actually coming from the OS, not from the application.

September 8, 2012 at 9:02 pmThanks for the suggestion, Walter – I tried it (disabled the workspace bar as you said) but it still creates an OMF with nothing in it (the file size is only 1.8 mgs, which is just for the markers, I guess). Opening it in either Soundtrack Pro or Audition proves it as the timeline appears with phantom, missing media. My only apparent recourse is to upgrade to 10.7.4 or 10.8.1, as I’m running 1.7.3 right now. I doubt that will make any difference, but I’ll try anything right about now.
Thanks so much for the tip, however – and I can’t thank all of you enough for your quick advice whenever I’ve asked – it’s always been much faster than waiting from Apple or Adobe!
