You would go into PrP preferences and under audio you would select MONO. That way the two tracks are brought in as split mono (not stereo) tracks. Then delete track 2 and pan the output on the track mixer to the center so channel 1 feeds both outputs.

In the audio effects folder is a filter called “Fill Left”. On a track that was imported as a stereo track (as opposed to a 2 track mono) this should be a quick and easy fix for you. It will take the left track and send it out both channels.

Hey guys, after LOTS of research the best option for sophisticated looking custom transitions that you can put anywhere. is available with Boris Red 5.0. The PC version is available now, and the Mac might be soon. Its the only real software that I as a long time pro editor would consider because of he many controls available and the good interface.

Lots of folks on the Adobe Premiere Pro forum have good things to say about ADK. They build computers for professionals doing Video / Audio and a like. They also are active participants in that forum as well. Now thats very cool. I am not associated with them, just sharing what I have seen. And I think I will be getting my next one there. Bye bye Mac Pro.

Well, thats surprising information! I used it on some client provided clips, but that was PLAYBACK only. I had NO problem with that. It was only when I downloaded the new Go Pro Studio, that I had the ability to ENCODE. It crahed with 3 apps ( PrP, AE AME) while trying to encode a 30 sec. spot to Cineform 422.

I had the same experience and got in touch with the developers. They are scrambling to fix whatever broke with the CS 5.5 upgrade. They say it worked just fine before that happened. I spent a chunk of time with them on the phone troubleshooting the crash issue. I think once its resolved it will be a viable alternative. These things happen, what counts is how motivated they are to fix it quickly.
