mercury with quaddro on mac
Have Nvidia quaddro pro 4000… How do I get premiere to enable the mercury hardware acceleration. It’s giving me the “software only” message in the project settings…

You may have to make sure Premiere is updated. Check for updates.

I was having the same problem. make sure you install the video card drivers as well as the cuda drivers. i didnt install the cuda drivers and only got the option for software only.

Hey Ed… It works, until I restart the computer and then I have to install the cuda drivers again. Lots of people have been having this problem… You ever run into it?

Just to chime in I’ve got cs5.5 and a quadro 4000 running snow leopard. I have hardware acceleration with no issues after reboot.
