Strangely, if I create a new project and import the old one into it, the project plays fine, BUT if I then save it and re-open it, the same problem occurs…

In Vegas, you would just set the stereo track to play the left (or right) channel only.
It’s great that FCP is getting more and more exposure as a pro application, but there’s nothing wrong with allowing customization. Avid still doesn’t realize that, I hope Apple will look that into account…

Will I get the RGB results when I play that DVD on my TV?

I’m seeing posts from people saying how to adjust render settings to work around this, but my goal is to use AAF export to AE, and then render from AE itself…
My question is – What will ultimatley be seen when played on a TV screen? the RGB color in AE or the YUV?

If I choose to export to NTSC Mpeg-DVD directly from AE, What settings should I use for output – 23.976 fps or 29.97 fps? Should I change “field rendering” from off to on in the render settings?

I actually meant that I will take the final resulting NTSC file and convert it to these two forms (using procoder for the PAL).
But as far as AE goes – What pulldown should I use i.e. WWSSW? Also, when I do that, I can’t change my clip to progressive again, do you know the reason for that?Thanks again Steve!
