    how is that done on after effects.

    the rays (rotate) i know it’s a plugin or some form of expression because rotating an image at an anchor point will not look as smooth.

    Use the checkerboard effects and make it so that one is very long. then use the corner pin distortion effect to skew into one direction.

    Create a square composition, add vertical stripes (either use the grid plugin, or just add some solids, or even the checkerboard plugin and mosaic set to 1 vertical block), then use the polar coordinates plugin. Set the polar co-ords to “rect to polar”, which is the opposite of the default, and make it 100%.

    Effect > Render > Ramp
