I’m using it with no issues so far. I’ve not done a lot with it, mostly some playback of 720p 10bit material, and some SD.

We’ve been told by many that the SR is the ONLY DVCAM HD deck that does record and playback 720p. We’ve just done a layoff in that format on that deck. Can someone who really knows clear this up? It was very confusing getting answers.

Thanks much for your opinion. So many choices right now, with new cards and all.

So the extra ram on the Quadra card is not that important? The main thing I’m trying to goose out of this new system is a kind of 2K playback system using Motion. Is that even a possibility. Or close to real time?
