OS X and QT version for Kona LHe w/ driver 1.2
Forgive my ignorance but I’m a 3D animator (and a PC guy) who’s just invested in a FCP system. I have a new Quad Mac and a Kona LHe. I had read somewhere on here that somebody was having trouble w/ a Quad Mac, Kona LHe, and OS 10.4.4 and QT 7.0.4. Before I update my software (I’m 10.4.2 and 7.0.1) can somebody tell me if this system is approved? I couldn’t find anything on AJA’s site but have been impressed by the support on this forum.
If I may tack on another question – I have a AJ SD93 deck w/ all the input boards, I read on this forum that it’s best to have a blackburst generator (somebody mentioned Horita) I think I should buy this – but can I work without it in the meantime?

ok – I put this up here a week ago so I guess noboby knows. I suppose I’ll upgrade the OS and QT tomorrow – hope it works.
