I wish there was an answer that I could give that would be your one-stop-shop, but I’m afraid you kinda have to visit various sites and costs. These are in no particular order, just whatever pops in the mind first. All have their strengths overall, but no one site really is the “end all, be all” in my opinion.
Digital Tutors (https://www.digitaltutors.com) is decent, though they really focus more on Maya and Max.
GreyScaleGorrilla.com (Nick Campbell) is great, though a little all over the place, resource for all things C4d. (Not to mention, free! LOL)
Cineversity is kind of a “must-have” toolkit overall for learning all around, though it’s not updated as much as I’d like…:)
There’s fxphd, which is “class based” terms, which can be a hassle waiting for a new project every week. Their instructors are top notch (Tim Clapman is a C4d god!), and even Tim Clapman has his “Making it Great” DVD’s on his website available for sale as well.
Joren Kandel (https://www.thepixellab.net) has some great quick tips, straight and to the point, and also has some great models for sale. There’s probably more, but those are the ones I’ve used and continue to use.
Of course, this forum is also a great way to reap some knowledge, if by just reading some of the problems and answers people give. With that, I say thanks to all who post and answer! You guys are the best!! 🙂

I can’t compare the differences completely, but I do know the AF100 records to AVCHD at 4:2:0 –while being able to record 4:2:2 via HD-SDI out to an external recorder. The 900 is tape based DVCPro HD. I wouldn’t recommend the 100 for run-and-gun type situations as a fixed lens camera is going to allow much more flexibility. That being said, interviews and other more “set up”/planned type of filmings should generate great results overall.
On a separate note, I am selling my AF100 complete with 4 lenses, 2 64gb cards and tripod on ebay right now. Alot less than the $10k and I can honestly say it has been well cared for. I’m a motion graphics/3d animator and the camera is just too much for me to focus on when I rarely film. My needs revolve around a simple fixed lens “point and shoot”, and hire a pro to do the larger jobs. That’s really the only reason I’m selling. I’ve been extremely happy with the camera otherwise, and the results are better that I originally thought.
I hope my earlier answer helps, regardless. There are some great reviews on both cameras online for specifics otherwise.Tim

I’d contact iStock and see if they can help. Or, if you want to send it my way I can take a look and see if I can relink. tim@7amedia.com

Did you try opening the eps in Illustrator? From what it sounds like (and I’m guessing), the image might need to be relinked within Illustrator and saved. Hope this helps

The lack of tracks is absolutely mind-blowing. That is the number one reason I won’t even look at it as a viable editing option any longer. One of my clients requested 7 different versions of one timeline, then all 8 of those translated in to 2 different languages with subtitles. So in all, I had 24 different movies. I suppose if one had to do that the “Great Apple Gadget Co.” way, it would be one long “story” LOL. It is an absolute joke of a professional software application.
But perhaps I should be thanking the “Great Apple Gadget Co.”; because without their absolute removal of the “pro”, I probably would not of looked at Premiere. The integration between Pr and AE is absolutely stunning, and I can’t believe how much disk space I’m saving without having to render out FX plates for finalization within the editor. Not to mention how fast Media Encoder is… No, I do not work for Adobe–but I’l thrilled with what they’ve actually been doing. But that’s just my opinion…

I’m asking the same question; but to my understanding, I think it is when you adjust the motion properties of a clip. So if no clip’s timing is adjusted throughout the timeline, I don’t think you need to apply it. Again, this is my quick interpretation of it 🙂

Avid just came and did a presentation for our user group. The entire presentation was done on a 1-2 year old Mac laptop. And it preformed remarkably well. I’m not 100% for sure on the PC laptop, but I’d venture a guess that you’d be fine.
