I have/do. The integration between the suite of products is really great overall, and Pr CS6 seems to be stable and a lot of previous issues have been resolved. Playback was a huge issue in 5.5 and below on my 2008 Mac Pro, –even when using only 1 codec and movie on the timeline. CS6 handles p2 media playback like it should (which is part of my workflow) and the moving back and forth via dynamic link is as good as it gets. I’m thrilled with this product overall. There can always be a few tweaks here and there; but coming from FCP 7, production premium fits the bill and then some.
To be honest, I was ticked at Apple’s fcpx decision. It meant having to make purchases rather than upgrades on some things and forced a lot of testing and changing of the mindset. It really opened the eyes that any one company should not be trusted as the base for your business model. I now have the ability to run down to the local big box store and get a cheap machine and know that the software will run on it, and when needed purchase the more powerful machines to do the daily work. Funny thing is, by Apple changing their main product in which the studio was based, I’m now not bound to Apple in any way except personal choice of what I want to use.
    But that’s just my opinion….:)

Kona 3 works in After Effects, but not in Pr. Or at least, I haven’t been able to get it to work 🙂 AE just worked.

I just went through something similar. Call the number on the ordering webpage (1-800-585-0774) and go through sales and support. After about 30 minutes on the phone, they got it figured out and put it in my account for immediate download. (Mine was 2 previous orders they only sent 1 upgrade for. All worked out in the end)

I’m not 100% for sure as I’ve never done this before, but I think you go to https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/upgrade-policy-product-announcement.html and submit your info.

Hey now, I resemble your remarks…Bluegrass provides us with everything our stomachs need for proper digestion, and what comes out looks exactly the same as your bermuda diet! In fact, I’d venture to say it comes out better because bluegrass removed all the unnecessary vitamins and minerals that we have been told we don’t need any longer.
In fact, I heard just recently that a cow in another pasture in california that gives milk to a prestigious dairy farm is now eating only bluegrass.

“The cameras normally split up into 2GB chunks”

In the past, Avid has a HUGE problem importing the spanned clips. It basically didn’t work. I think in 6, the workaround is the AMA in and then transcode rather than a straight import. Or, you could render out the clips to DNxHD using a secondary program and import in that way.

The camera itself works fine. I’ve got one that I’m happy with overall. I wish it had HD-SDI out rather than just the component and HDMI out, but it’s a good camera at a good price.
