hmm i think you can first time the layers then
choose the girl layer and change the blending mode to difference (dont use your group layer only the girl and the BG)
so you see what happen then precomp this and nest it in your final comp.

Apply threshold to the precomp (you can blur it out before doing this, i think this would help) then use this black and white layer as an luma matte for your girl. now you can do the same thing with your gropu layer. i think this should work (if not u maybe need to get rid of the gray in the blending and use alpha matte)

im not sure but i think this would work. im just guessing but one answer is better than none.

    Flash can also be downloaded

I use the real player (real . com) wich can download them.
It shows up a little pop-up over the video. You can click on it and download the video.

February 4, 2008 at 6:34 pm in reply to: AE not rendering final comp.

Im not sure if im seeing the problem, but its the only thing i can think of in your case.

-Your work area is to short

it looks like your work area is set to a to short area:
    Time Span: Work Area
    Start: 0:00:00:00
    End: 0:00:00:00

After Effects renders only the work area.
And also after effects need more than 2 frames to render; in your case there are less than 2 frames.

To solve the Problem extend your work area by click&drag the end and start of the work area to your end and start for your comp. You can also go to the first frame and hit “B” and then go to the last frame and hit “N”. Then you should be able to see the full video after rendering.

well there is more than 1 way to do it. But what i found is a player wich can download videos (even on youtube) very easily.
Its called realplayer. Just visit the site http://www.real.com and search for the Real Player and download it. After installing just open the video in your browser and while your going with your mouse over the video a little pop up shout pop up. Just click it and the video will download

the only way i know is using CC Force Motion Blur instead of the Motion Blur switch. There you can keyframe the shutter angle and so on.

    and very important! Sound!
If you got sound in your comp from the footage or simply a file, it is delayed.

After Effects first does “Ram Previewing” the sound before it starts even render a frame.

You can change the duration of the sound preview in the AE settings, so it only “renders” a few seconds of sound and doesnt take so long to render it all. BTW: i think the its preset to 15sek

sry, i dont know. BTW: im very bad at PS!

I think I saw a tutorial here on creativeCow from Aharon Rabinowitz that shows you how to create multi color gradients directly inside after effects. if your interested in it check the tutorial page from aharon and enjoy watching it!
