I just found out that it was the floor (3-4 layers) that created that thing.
I have no idea why this happens but it didn’t when I shut off the floor.
I “fixed” it by splitting up the comp in two seperate comps.

I’ll probably post a video or something, when I’ve got time.
I am still curious why this happens.

Also, applying “Ramp” and then “Colorama” will give you a multi-color gradient as well

I can just thank you for all of your podcasts. It gave me a very good understanding of how the things really work.

Your tutorials were always great because you really explained what is going on under the hood.
It was much better than other tutorials were its been just written down: -Do this, -do this and then this, but you never knew why; you werent really able to use the techniques for other purposes.
Your tutorials always made me experiment and use the techniques for other things.

Thank you for this, and have a very good time with your family!

Enable time remapping for the layer.
Rightclick on it and choose Enable time remapping (or time>enable time remapping, not sure now)
Once timeremapping is enabled you can just extend the layer.

After Effects cant really handle such big files, i think (may depend on your PC or Mac)

So what you can do is use a techinque Andrew Kramer shows in his tutorial “Earth Zoom” on videocopilot.net! check it out

out the animation layer above the revealed layer and then create a new mask on the upper layer that follows the animation
1.use the pen tool to create a mask2
2.animate the mask to follow your animation (dont forget to click on the stopwatch for mask shape, wich reveales while hitting M twice)
3 set the layer beneath your anim layer to use the upper layer as a Alpha trackmatte (cant see options? press F4)
