    convert it to a polygon object if you don’t need to animate it and check your normals

    *further meddling has revealed that up close, like 6 inches, itll behave fine. as you get to roughly 10 inches away it gets distorted and zoomed. then when youre back roughly 5 feet, its a clear picture, but upside down and backward

    im not sure what that means.. i googled it tho and it seems tht ntfs is a mac thing? im running windows 7. and if its space, its not a problem, i got plenty of hard drive space, and the files im trying to export are only mp4s, about a couple hundred mbs. it just seems like the machine cant handle it cuz it doesnt lock up or anything. just turns off, no warning, no proper shut down, just.. off.

    once again, its adam to the rescue^_^ metaball did exactly what i was looking for. youre right about the triangulated mesh, but isnt there a way to fix that? i thought i saw sumthin about cleaning up mesh but i dnt remember exactly what it was

    but is tht possible somehow? it seemed quite ingenious to create something out of primitives then wrap it up in a mesh, then delete the primitives leaving only the mesh in the form it was in when the primitives were still there
