Oh dear…. Ok no the picture won’t work because it’s a local link to your desktop. To display it in here one way is to upload the pic to a pic site like tinypic then insert the URL like this: [IMG]url[/IMG]
It sounds like interlacing to me. Try the deinterlace filter, see if it helps a bit.
Is the 8core mac pro yours?😀

I work in a suite with 2 mac pros and a new iMac, had to issues thus far (don’t use avid though)

For a camera like that, why not save even more space and capture to Prores 422 LT? Correct me if I’m wrong people, but you need quite a large bitrate to even take advantage of normal prores…. Whilst prores LT is still the same quality for a camera like this (and others such as the Z7 etc)

i agree with David- also a general answer to your question about fewer or less, you should always fill up all of the spare slots with the same amount of RAM- balance it out. That way the CPU spreads its load equally across the chips. (There as something rather horrible about that last sentence…)

Macbook air for rendering stuff is not good- its fast read and write times because SSD but slow render times because bad processor. This applies to transcoding and converting stuff as well- get a macbook pro, itll serve you better.

At work we have a RAID system which is connected via Ethernet cables. Which works well. The only thing about not having server edition of FCp is it “talks” to each other if both computers are on the same network, meaning it only let’s you try and edit on one machine at a time. Of course you should have bought one licence per machine though…

Ummmm….. well to get something like this really requires motion, and you just follow the instructions in the video…. Although personally I would suggest correctly lighting somebody with a green Tshirt on and then keying in what you want to do- this guys method would require keyframing im sure…

Why are you exporting as uncompressed HD? Have you checked the size settings in the export window? Could be to do with that
