Just switch on the RIPPLE EDIT. It is a button on the upper side of the Vegas screen

When you select the CROP tool, a menu appears at the top of the screen where you can fill in values for height, width and reolution.
You can leave these entries empty, but if you fill in something there, the final result after cropping will have this size/resolution (see picture).
You can simply press the CLEAR button to resolve the problem.

To insert a marker at the site of the cursor, just press M

If your problem is that the transition is applied to your whole frame, then there is a simple solution. Create your flip transition in a separate project and import this project as a nested file into your main project. Then you can give it any size you need.

Maybe it helps when you work with smart objects. Then you can keep the size of the file small until you are completely finished and only at the end increase the size up to your 84in x 50in.

I have included an example. Is this what you are looking after?
Go to the channel tab
Select the button LOAD AS SELECTION
Go to the layer tab
Inverse the selection (Ctrl Shift I)
In the menu bar: SELECT-MODIFY-EXPAND
Give a number of pixels (I did 10)
Fill the selection with black (Alt + backspace)
Deselect (Ctrl D)I hope this is usefull for you. You can even make an ACTION to have all the files changed at once.

Yes, you read that correct. If you choose in the first tab (source media) to use media files, you can have them rendered to separate files or as one project on the timeline. But when you choose CURRENT PROJECT AS SOURCE, this will be seen by Assistant as only one item.Theo

How would you incorporate this in the action of Assistant? Because Assistant will have to make the selection for every event one by one.

I agree with that After 20-30 seconds, I had seen more then enough. (maybe that’s because I’m not a fanatic gamer??)
