You could have a small region selected and have the render slection only engaged. Make sure there aare no regions selected when you render. Or alternately select the entire audio event and select render selected section.

December 18, 2009 at 6:31 am in reply to: DVD Architect Pro 5 — no menus — how?

To burn a movie with no menus just open DVDA and chose File>New you will get a box asking you what kind of disc you want to make. One choice is single movie, no menu. Chose that. Then bring your prepared video into DVDA and burn. Its that simple.

  • Thats a good one. I have never seen it before. Hope someone can help you out. Lends a new meaning to ‘rubberbanding’.

Is there a simple button in Vegas that will automatically take the project into DVD Architect seemlessly
Not is Vegas Pro. What you would do is open Vegas Pro. If you do not get an immediate splash screen asking what kind of project you want to open then from the FILE menu choose NEW. When the new project opens it will ask what kind of project you want. Choose Single Movie Non Menu Based. Then find where your movie (Mpeg 2 and AC3) files are and double click on one of them. Both files will be brought into DVDA. You are ready to burn.

Watching it on the tv you are watvhing an interlaced image on a device that is made for watching interlaced images, If you watch it on a computer you are watching an interlaced image on a device taht is made to see noninterlaced images. The two distinct images that you see are probably the two fields of the interlaced image taken 1/30 second apart.

There is a bypass fx switch in the top panel. You might have somehow activated it.

  • Concerning the Lightscribe technique:
I know that one of my computers has a lightscribe burner but I have never used it and cannot remember which one it is. Is there an easy way to tell which burner has lightscribe?

Second, I had problems with discs until I switched exclusively to Taiyo Yuden or Verbatum. How do the Lightsvribe discs compare?

    Alan,
I have deleted the trial version. I have downlaoded from the link you sent and installed on my office computer. It will not take my serial number from my home installation. How do I get another serial number, or do I need one. Sorry for all the trouble.

You might also try doing paste and copy.
I assume you are trying to intall on an editing computer that is not connected to the internet. But that you have received the activation code on another computer that is connected. Copy and paste the activation number on the connected box into a notepad file and save it on a flash drive. Then take that flash drive to the editing computer and paste the activation number into the appropriate location. Has worked every time for me.
