vegas 8.. I’m trying to color correct part of a clip.

I click the 2ndary color corrector in video event fx.. and i don’t see any changes in the preview.

I’ve never seen this do anything like this… have I disabled some switch or something..??

i know its been a while, but really??? have I forgotten something.. color correction in vegas was a no brainer until this morning!

    Thanks!

There is a bypass fx switch in the top panel. You might have somehow activated it.

there’s only one little piece i need to fix so rather than redo the whole thing thing I’m rendering it out and maybe i can fix it from one avi file

    OK for the record..

if I do have a piece of screwed up video that i need to fix.. is there some article on color correcting from the media bin ( as i have read) ??

I’ll wait for some advise – and when this is done i’ll reload that media and see if i can get back to color correction… ( in a new project ) or a copy of the media.. just in case!…

Well.. i was doing pretty well here for a while..

Terry and John.. thanks for the help so far.. if you think of anything I’m all ears!

Just right-click the event and choose Select in Project Media list. Then go to the Project Media tab and right-click on the selected media and choose Media FX…. Then apply your color correction.
