What technique are you using to speed up the clips?

Could be an overscan problem with the TV. Different TVs have different amounts of overscan/underscan (does not happen on computer monitors).

You might render a small segment and use the scanning marks on the preview window as definitive image edges. (Might even come into the ‘title safe’ area) and see what it looks like. You could also try playing the program on different TVs and see if there is any great difference.

Not quite sure what you are talking about. How hahve you ‘layered’ your two that are visible? I assume that one is one track one and one is on track two and you have reduced the opacity of the track one. Now where are the ‘others that are black”?

    Mike,
In your explanation how do you originally acquire your ‘document’.

  • Yes. At the bottom right of the time line are some time boxes. There is just one showing when you are playing and do not have a region set. Once you set a gegion there is a middle one that shows the total time from the brginning to the end of the region and a third one (far rioght) that shows the time (duration) of the region. Thats the one you are looking for.

Actually, rather than a reformat you can do a conversion:
    To convert:
“Open Command Prompt, and at the command prompt, type convert C: /FS:NTFS, where C represents the drive letter of the disk to convert. Press Enter or Return on the keyboard”
I believe that doing this would keep you from losing all the information on the drive where a reformat is a killer. BUT I’m not sure. Maybe someone more techhie can speak up.

Ah, the 3.99 GB file is a clue. Sounds like your hard drive is FAT32. It should be reformatted to NTFC.

  • Yes, do what Steve says.
Also, are all the clips from the same source or different sources?
