Most that I have seen (and that we have used on helmets inmotorcycle racing and firefighting) hvae been ‘lipstick’ type cameras that mount on the helmet and record to the camera mounted someplace else on the body (or bike).
You might try to converse with Douglas Spotted Eagle (Spot) on one of these forums as he is deeply into the sky diving video aspect.

Don’t know if I really have an answer for you but while you can set the authoring program up to make a looping DVD, the looping can also be done by the DVD player itself. Most have a setting that will let a DVD loop. That way you can do the chapter points with the program and the looping with the DVD setting.

There is software or maybe hardware out there that can work like a telestrator but off hand I don’t know what they are.
A work around could be to draw your line in a paint program of some sort with an alpha background and then save and import into Vegas. -
You have run into the OVERSCAN problem that occurs to one degree or another on all tvs – but not on pc monitors. If you play it back on some lcd or plasma tvs you might find that the overscan is less. Usually it is greater on crt tvs.
That is the reason for the ‘safe’ area dotted boxes you can turn on and off in the preview window. Another way is to use a tv hooked up to your NLE while you are editing to actually see what it will look like (at least oon that tv). -
I work with a FCP fanatic. Sometimes he asks me to do some editing work for him. What we usually end up doing is I do the section that he wants me to and I render it to tape (miniDV). He’ll then take it and capture it into his system.

You could use an arrow from wingding fonts. Then reposition with pan and crop or track movement.

An ‘event’ is anything on the time line. So if you drag a clip with sound to the time line you have 2 events. One video event and one audio event. They are generallly grouped together and move together. To separate them so that they are individual events and can be moved separately, highlight eithre the audio event or the video event and press ‘U’ (ungroup). If you want to connect several events together, highlight all the events and press ‘G’ (group).
