You need to turn on your ‘safe area’ markers in preview and create titles within that area and with enough border around them to look professional

You have run into the OVERSCAN problem that occurs to one degree or another on all tvs – but not on pc monitors. If you play it back on some lcd or plasma tvs you might find that the overscan is less. Usually it is greater on crt tvs.
That is the reason for the ‘safe’ area dotted boxes you can turn on and off in the preview window. Another way is to use a tv hooked up to your NLE while you are editing to actually see what it will look like (at least oon that tv).

    thanks for reply
yea i have Attatched a TV with my NLE so thats why i gave PIC 😉

umm is there anyway to work always in safe areas (yea i know what they are and how to use in vegas) but i wanted that is there any way that i have don’t have to stretch and squeeze titles and backgrounds for same areas boxes.. when i drag and drop or use metrial they should FIT perfect safe areas ?

i use Premiere Pro 2 and there’s not any kinda problem like this why with Vegas ?

Well, my friend, you have to tell each title if it is widescreen or 4×3 in relation to your project settings.

use Premiere Pro 2 and there’s not any kinda problem like this why with Vegas ? All NLE preview screens have safe area indicators for this very reason. Including Premiere.
In Vegas, generated titles will *always* fit the aspect of the project, but if you mix widescreen title graphics in a 4:3 project, you’ll likely experience some cut off.
If you enable the Safe Areas overlay, you’ll always know where your titles lie.
