What is your source footage? What are your project settings? What are your export settings? Are you using the free or the paid version of Resolve?

That’s pretty much the point of pdf manuals.

As a workaround I’ve used a grid effect on an adjustment layer.

If you absolutely need a lossless format I would go with DPX or EXR. The filesize will be huge but it’s lossless. Otherwise 10 bit DNxHD/DNxHR as mentioned in other comments. They aren’t straight up lossless but they are “visually lossless”.

The checkmark is showing the active project which defaults to the untitled project at program start. You only need to turn the dynamic project switching on in one project and it will activate it globally. Then when you open the project panel the current active project has the orange checkmark and other projects you’ve opened (ie. projects that are open in the background) have a white checkmark and outline.
Read/search the manual, please.

Shift+H for highlight. You should probably read the manual. It’s pretty good and comprehensive and you might learn some new tricks from there.

On the left side of the color page the rightmost icon (the star logo) is the denoiser/motion blur.

I think I’ve posted this before but hey: As someone who is actually working in a company that is doing VR projects I wish people would stop calling 360 videos VR.

If this is the requirement then you’d probably be better off paying a professional colorist to go through your project.
