btw, I noticed you can’t unlink Chroma and Luma in the Spatial threshold section. The chain icon is grayed out. Is that normal?

Yes, you can unlink them. The interface is not super-obvious, but it does work. One setting some people use is using TNR luma-only and SNR chroma-only, which you can make a good argument softens the picture a bit less.

Thanks, Marc. Like I said, in the TNR section you have Chroma and Luminance linked by a chain icon but it’s grayed out. So the solution is, basically, 6 of one, half dozen of the other ????

If you use Mode: Faster – then you can unlink Chroma and Luminance in the Spatial section !

Thanks again, Ole! But for some reason, yesterday the chain wasn’t grayed out and I was able to unlink the two. Even with it set to “Better”.
