Yesterday I clicked on 3 different projects with “Dynamic Project Switching” checked and it worked fine. Today when I do it, it opens the “Untitled Project” only, which I didn’t even click on. I know this is something that probably doesn’t happen to everybody so I don’t expect a solution. Just putting it out there just in case.

When I click on the other projects they get outlined but there’s no checkmark like there is in the Untitled Projects thumbnail. See attached

Are you saying you can’t double click a second project and get it to open, or you can’t open all 3 with 1 click of the button?

With Dynamic Project Switching turned on you should be able to shift/click on 2 or more projects, then click “Open” and one will open with the other project available to be switched to. What I’m doing, and which worked before, is Shift/click on two different projects, but the only project that opens is the default “Untitled Project” (which I had changed to “Future Project” as you can see in the image). I can click on the untitled default project all day and it won’t turn off the check mark.

If I only select one project, it will open, but if I select two projects, then neither opens, just the default “untitled project”.

The checkmark is showing the active project which defaults to the untitled project at program start. You only need to turn the dynamic project switching on in one project and it will activate it globally. Then when you open the project panel the current active project has the orange checkmark and other projects you’ve opened (ie. projects that are open in the background) have a white checkmark and outline.

    Read/search the manual, please.

Duke…keep it simple. Don’t try to open two at once. Open first project, then use your home icon bottom right corner and double click on a second project. Should work.

Thanks, Glen! And, just for the record, Tero, I didn’t realize that Resolve’s manual comes in a searchable .pdf.

That’s pretty much the point of pdf manuals.
