  • If you’ve made a Blackmagic sequence the audio will play back through the I/O. Check your Audio Output Mapping preferences.

[Dominic Deacon] “Lightworks is in a strange place at the moment. I love it’s interface. It’s alien but just feels custom built for cutting features. The problem is it is totally alien so it’s does take a lot of learning and who can committ the time to learning a program that you can’t yet use on serious work?”

My problem is that I haven’t been able to import any footage in Lightworks without it crashing. So.. That’s that.

[Gerry Curtis] “Thanks, but, that’s for the cloud, not for Production Premium.”

There’s too much cloudycloudcloud going on 😉

Don’t choose a preset. Choose the codec from the video codec drop menu in the video tab.

Avid DNxHD is a quicktime codec so choose Quicktime as the format and Avid DNxHD for the codec.

[Gerry Curtis] ” Anyone have a promotional code for the upgrade?”

Choose the “Special introductory pricing for existing customers” link on the right side of the Creative Cloud page on Adobe.com.

  • So… I have the Quadro 2000M card which is pretty cool, BUT it isn’t officially supported in Premiere CS5 but it is in 5.5 and later. I used the CUDA text hack with it and it worked nicely EXCEPT FOR THIS LITTLE MONITORING PROBLEM RIGHT HERE! So undo the text hack if you have monitoring needs and an unsupported GPU.

  • [Vince Becquiot] “So it is setup as extended correct? As an alternative, you can always drag your program monitor window to the other display to get a pseudo full screen.”

Yes it’s extended and it works in Windows as it should be on HDMI and VGA. Yeah I could drag my program monitor over but that’s a crappy work around.

  • It didn’t work even with the VGA port. Then I fired up my older laptop with Premiere CS4 and the monitor was in the device list immediately.

[Lance Bachelder] “It’s official – just $29 per month for current Adobe customers for the entire CS6 Master Collection? Done. Guess I’ll be using Premiere CS6 more than I thought but after the NAB demos I couldn’t resist.”

36 euros in Euroland… Still not bad.
