Yeah. Click the empty box to the left of the track name. The hover tooltip should say “toggle track lock”.

Motion paths and maskas will not show up in the final export. If it’s a plugin that is in a trial mode it might have some watermarks when you render out.

Rotobrush isn’t perfect so touching the matte up or otherwise using pen tool with it is a good idea.

You need to tell your client that PAL is specced at 25 fps and if they want 29,97 it’ll be NTSC spec.

You can also hit cancel when making the initial sequence and you’ll start your project without a sequence.

Even if you could somehow make it smaller and retain the quality your videographer would still be up all night encoding the stuff to the smaller format. You could drop the resolution and the bitrate but I don’t think you’d want to do that.

I had the same exact problem. It seems to be that if youre playing back a Blackmagic sequence it wants to put the video and audio through the I/O no matter what the settings.

Have you tried making a non-Blackmagic sequence?
