Better fix would be not dynamic linking between Premiere and Encore. I’ve only had trouble with that.

Make sure you aren’t playing back what you’re recording. Check your operating system audio settings.

You can do pretty much everything with the Premiere 3-way color corrector that you can do in FCP.

I have a similar iMac workstation with a Pegasus RAID and I can run 4K RED sequences in 1/4th quality well.

You can setup Premiere to playback through another monitor (if your monitor has DVI etc. in) in the playback settings so maybe that would work. Also you could work in a 1080 sequence and then render out in 4K or whatever you might need.

Or maybe it’s a quicktime bug but Apple probably has no interest in fixing it.

The 720 signal formats are either 50fps or 60fps and at least the Blackmagic Ultrastudio 3D will not monitor if it’s a “non standard” 720-framerate combo.

Have you tried exporting it out with the same settings as your sequence? Or maybe to another codec? That 160×90 at 15fps just seems really weird.
