Hi, can you tell me if the Multibridge Pro handles SD 29.97 to HD 1080i 23.98 PsF conversion?
Also, is it capable of realtime HD-SDI Monitoring of 1080i 23.98 while simultaneously down converting to SD 29.97?
Thank you for your help, I am moments away from making this purchase, this is the last factor that needs to be clarified before taking the plunge.
Cheers,

When will these new products be available? I am in the immediate market for a RAID 5 array and I would like to consider these as I price things out.
If you have any other info I’d appreciate it.
Thanks,

December 8, 2007 at 3:39 pm in reply to: Shot 1080i 23.98 from V1U-Possible to Capture with FX1?Thanks for the reply Jeff,
I didn’t actually shoot the tapes myself, they are coming from a client and we are awaiting more specific information regarding format. I guess we’ll just have to see what happens, I agree FCP should be able to handle the pull down, but not sure if that capability is limited by the device control spec of the camera connected.
We’ll see what happens and I’ll give an update. Thanks,

Can anyone recommend one that will do LCD and CRT.
We are working with a hand ful of Panasonic BT-LH1700W’s and Sony PVM 20M4U and PVM 14L2’s.
Any hardware suggestions and / or individuals who provide calibration as a service are greatly appreciated, thanks

May 23, 2007 at 2:08 pm in reply to: Will Final Cut 6 Remember unique Capture Scratch settings per ProjectThats disappointing. Yeah, always carefull over here, (especially after being burned by this) its really annoying though when you’re jumping between multiple projects during the course of the day to have to constantly switch. I really had hoped Apple could’ve finally added this fairly basic user experience improvement.
Thanks for the info,

Well not sure exactly, as I’ve missed him once before. We have a Restrospect running of our server and when I came to the computer I turned on my LCD screens and the Retrospect successfull backup notice was up over my FCP window, I screen grabbed and as soon as I clicked on FCP bringing it to the front, Bruce was quick to bolt.
