For all you FCP 6 owners out there…I’m dying to know if I can set my capture scratch per project. Yes we can do multiple capture scratches now in FCP 5, but does anyone know if FCP 6 will retain your capture scratch settings per project?

ie: a doc project that points to one drive set and a tv project that points to another drive set, when you bounce back and forth project to project your capture and render files go to the right place without having to reset.

    Thanks for the info

It’s the same behavior as FCP 5 in this regard… hey, just be careful… I know a guy who puts his scratch disk settings in the name of the project file so he can be prompted to remember to change them if needed… (that guy be me…)

Thats disappointing. Yeah, always carefull over here, (especially after being burned by this) its really annoying though when you’re jumping between multiple projects during the course of the day to have to constantly switch. I really had hoped Apple could’ve finally added this fairly basic user experience improvement.

    Thanks for the info,
    Ted

In an effort to make my changing of the scratch disk locations as simple as possible
