I’ve also found, using the element, with 3-4 or more nodes, the GUI thumbnails in the timeline take quite a bit longer to update.

I don’t think it’s a big deal, but it does seem to fall in line w GUI update faults

I personally like the software mandated relaxation periods……most sometimes

I have that problem when connected through a USB extender. Connecting directly to the computer fixes it for me

Does anyone know of a place in the US that sells these inserts? I’ve not been able to find anyone that carries them, not even B&H.
    Thanks

    Hey Richard,
No, we’re not expecting Resolve to ever work with the Kona cards, so we may be switching some of our stations to BMD. We’re also waiting to see what happens with the new MacPro’s. Switching to those will definitely kill the Kona cards, unless you want to use an external expansion box. We have a long term contract that means we are still using Color and will be until Oct or Nov. At that point we have to make a decision on where to go next. Good luck

Don’t forget to clear your cache. CS6 and Cuda uses your cache a great deal

When the 4000 is installed correctly with the correct drivers it’s well worth the money, at least we think it is. The decrease in render times is absolutely amazing

Carlos, I’m not sure why yours isn’t working, do you have the correct drivers? is your system compatible? Is AE configured correctly? You can download this free app that lets you know the status of your cuda card.

    This is a download

    https://sourceforge.net/projects/cuda-z/files/cuda-z/Beta/CUDA-Z-0.6.133-SVN.dmg/download

Let me know if you need any more specific info

Thanks Gary, yeah, you guys did a great job, thanks. Just curious, why would you mention windows specifically? Is that just to indicate that the issues with the Windows versions is what’s slowing down the whole process? Or were you indicating that it may happen sooner for people like us that are on Macs?

Hey, thanks, but considering SpeedGrade is now part of the Creative Suite I’m not sure what BMD has to do with it, but at the Adobe Roadshow a few weeks ago both Adobe and AJA indicated they were working on supporting Speedgrade on the Kona.
