Chris, don’t be so quick to jump into the panic zone, buddy. You’ll cause yourself some heart failure.
Panasonic has invested their future in P2 and I would think that things can only get better. In a few years, the P2 cards will hold much more storage and a bunch of products will be developed to make it better. And on and on and on. Be patient.
The only problem for now is storing the original files with intact time code on something other than a stack of hard drives. The rest is cake.

It can be embedded in your composite signal only and you have to turn it on with the disply button under the flip out screen (I think)

Try different shutter speeds also. We shoot a lot of golf and usually shoot at 1000 shutter speed and let the software fill in the blanks. If we shoot at 60 Hz, we get nothing but blur, if that.
