I’m not sure what’s wrong, but it’s generally good to avoid HDV in AE. Use something else to convert it to a codec that uses untraframe compression.

By the way, I just found that technically, our perception of motion is correctly described as the Beta Phenomenon, not Persistence of Vision. For what it’s worth.

It sounds as if you’re getting closer, but you might want to post in the Live Events COW, for they may have more experience with projection and such. Maybe they’ll suggest burning to DVD, then playing from a DVD player? I don’t know. Anyway, try the forum.

Click the pixel aspect ratio correction switch at the bottom of the comp window.

Yeah, this is a goofy error that I’ve only been able to solve by restarting the app.
The error hasn’t occurred with the CS3 version, though.
Anybody else?
