HDV footage comes in green
I am attempting to use some HDV footage, that I captured using the Cineform HDV codec, in an After Effects comp. It imported into Premiere Pro CS3 fine, but in After Effects CS3 it shows up looking like a green solid. It shows up as footage with the correct dimensions and length. It is just green. Any idea what is going on here.

I’m not sure what’s wrong, but it’s generally good to avoid HDV in AE. Use something else to convert it to a codec that uses untraframe compression.

I thought the Cineform codec should take care of the issues that are present in native HDV files. For reference, I was able to use the Cineform files in After Effects 6.5 before I upgraded to CS3. It imports into After Effects CS3 fine and you can play it back by double clicking it in the project window to open the file in the video viewer, but when you put it in a composition, it comes up green.
