Don’t stress yourself Rico,
Purchasing Sony vegas Pro 8 now is a solid investment…doesn’t
make sense to sit and wait and ponder over vegas 9. It will reach
when it is it’s time.Personally i don’t use either Boris nor After effects (years in this field teaches me to use the tools that i am comfortable with and great
at using, not necessarily the tools that everyone else is making
a big deal over). So it is “Sony Vegas” + “Autodesk Combustion” for

I understand.
Because your footage is 704X480 you need to make a custom change.
704×480 is not a standard resolution….so you wouldn’t find a

If you are importing and working with 16×9 widescreen footage,
First thing you do in vegas is to select one of the default widescreen project setting that fits what your camera captures.
(no need to mess with any of the setting).

I am also on the hunt recently for “one that removes programs as well as entries in the Add/Remove Program folder won’t remove“…as you said, but also removes the registry keys and all minute traces as well, no matter how stubborn.
Was aware of a tool that can do all this sometime back (yes,free too),
but lost track. I’ll also share when i get a hold of it.
Some tools claims to uninstall etc, but they are not complete.Steve Rhoden

Yes, USB drives has many short-comings…..A firewire drive is what i would highly recommend.

matter of fact, nothing should be open or running when you are

Blue-ray has some time to go before playback compatibility runs across the board for home users. In the months ahead,blue ray players is the key to bridge this gap….Also they need to find a common ground to avoid these regular firmware updates, it is nagging.Steve Rhoden
