As John Rofrano highlighted, your computer is way under-powered for
handling processing power efficiently. Especially ACVHD format which
is processing intensive.
If you are gonna want to continue editing your AVCHD without stress,
you need to upgrade accordingly, or if its out of your budget at the
moment, you can grab a copy of “AVCHD Upshift” over at ‘vasst.com’
to make editing it a bit more tolerable…its going for only $49.00

I really would agree that you should create a restore
point Allen…Personally as in my earlier post wont venture down that route…i have too many personalized setting etc…and if anything throws my suite off track it would be a headache to get things organize again. Isn’t worth it for me.

Have no intention of ever using SP3…So can’t contribute any
experience to your query. But from what i accurately gather, there would not be any issues or conflict with vegas or any application you have installed.(seamless integration from what i see and researched).

If you dragged it out of view at the bottom,
Simply right click your task bar…then click properties and auto
hide the task bar. You should then see that hidden window.

Or look around for six hidden vertical dots and drag it out.
