    Hello,

I’m considering purchasing a Blu-ray burner and upgrading to Vegas 8. Are there any compatibility issues if I provide my clients with a blu-ray disk? Will their Blu-ray player play the blu-ray DVD that I create in Vegas? Or, are there many issues that still need to be worked out regarding this?

If the above scenario is not a problem, please feel free to recommend a good blu-ray burner.

    Thanks,

    Jerry

    Jerry,
Sorry, there is no guarantee that your blue-ray disc will play on
all clients blue-ray player (whichever you use)….right now its
    a hope and pray game.
Anyway, i always recommend the “pioneer BDR” burners.

I have the Pioneer BDR-202 burner and I love it. As for players, your customer will have to maintain their player to the latest software levels available from their manufacturer to get the best compatibility.
