….Of course you will get that if you are rendering your output
in AVI-HDV. You need to render using the mpeg2 format for your DVD’s
then select your desired template below that.

Don’t know any about this camera…i gave it a review though and
it looks quite decent enough for your present needs as you
mention.
The bit that got me however is its ability to shoot 24p Cinema Mode
in that “film look” style.

Both Mike and John has hit the nail right on the head for you.
It is not just one thing to achieve that film like cadence.
Its doing your initial shoot like film….Then briliant
filmic color grading….(then adding film grain if you desire
that particular texture)….and finally add film motion by
intelligently converting your footage to 24fps progressive scan.

From what i see in your posts Morty,
you obviously are serious about your work….so i would
recommend you just go for the pro version and put an end
to the does and donts…LOL
Sure it costs more, but its worth it with what you can then do.

There is a free handy little plugin available for vegas
called “Davitools” over at https://www.davitools.com/default.aspx
that you can probably look at and give it a try…i am
sure its another solution that would suite your need.

workflow a breeze.
