Place the 4K clips on the Vegas Pro timeline and go from there, yeah, that’s best advisable.
And you go about your edits as you normally would with any other HD or SD format, as long as
you have a powerful system.There is no need for any 3rd party converters, and even Vegas itself can be used as a converter.

It’s just the scripts and certain extensions that are affected Scott. Everything else is ok.
And John, Magix is not to be blamed, it’s just the legal mess such a
change of ownership has to go through….. If any blame is to be made, it should be

When you zoom, at each keyframe did, you right click and select Match output aspect?

Does this happen with every video format (mov, avi, mp4 etc) you drop on the Vegas timeline and try to render?
I am asking this as to ascertain if its a particular file type you have on the timeline that is causing this issue, to

Amanda, Vegas 13 will still be exactly the same. Nothing gonna stop you from continuing to use it if you choose.

Richard, No, No, you need not have any serious doubts about whether or not to upgrade to vegas 14.
Magix is not to be blamed for this, it’s a licensing issue why this is so. Ownership has changed and so
certain Sony namespace in scripting etc obviously has to be altered or ceased.Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)
