Boxed version of Sony Vegas Pro 13 not accepting Serial Number.
I had a 30 day trial with Sony Vegas Pro 13. Bought the boxed version afterwards.
Tried uninstalling, re-installing, re-registering the software, EVERY time I try to launch Vegas, I enter the Serial Number, Click Submit, and it says:
“this application will restart to complete the upgrade process”
I must have re-enter the # a million times already:)
Tried launching the programs under “Run as administrator”.
Still not working.
What Am I Missing?? -

Is it the newest 13 version recently issued by Magix?

It is the boxed version, but I’m not sure if it was issued through Magix. Not seeing Magix written anywhere on the box.
It might be that it’s connecting to the site for the newest version?
I tried downloading another 30 day trial yesterday, it wouldn’t launch, and said the 30 days was up, (I guess from the first time trial).
Wish I could get rid of the proof.-Anthony

It worked!! Thank you so much. I was in this problem for about 6 hours or more yesterday.
Hopefully nothing “funky” happens when I register it online.Thank you.
