Best to compile your demo from the DV Tape sources.
To extract from Past DVD’s, the resolutions will be a bit lossy
and compressed…You want your demo looking sharp and pristine.

Your problem aint deriving from vegas…and “mpeg2” is the
format to render to when rendering for DVD.
My recommendation for making clean basic DVD’s is always
ConvertXtoDVD.

Have Vegas Pro 10…But still and will continue to
use Vegas Pro 9.oe (Bugfree version)…lol

right click the taskbar at bottom…click properties…and under
the “taskbar” tab tick “auto-hide the taskbar”
(on windows 7)…What are you using, XP or Win7?

Try to auto-hide your task bar, and when it drops out
of view see if you can drag back up the missing window.
If that doesn’t work, try re-setting vegas by Holding
down the “control + shift” keys while launching vegas.

Well you have a system capable enough to handle HD editing tasks,
So its not that..Im thinking what kind of HD format are you editing?
Because, Vegas 7 may not handle newer HD formats as well. A lot of
improvements has been made in HD handling in Vegas since version 7.

Which specific version of vegas are you referring to as SVP?
You may have these limitations if you are using an old version
or not a professional version of vegas.

Again i say, get a version made for windows 7…As John pointed
out, it may install and such, but its architecture is not designed
for windows 7…That is why you are having that issue.
