Lost event fx box…?
I was learning how to Use cookie cutter (I’m new to Vegas) on Sony Vegas pro 9, I placed the cookie cutter effect on the clip I wanted to use when the box popped up (I THINK it’s called event fx) you know the box where you can adjust the effect blah blah blah; and I pulled it down to check it was on the right clip. I obviously pulled it too far down cow when I released my mouse it dissapeared and I can’t get it back! Please help me’ 🙁

You can right click on a video or audio event and select event FX. If the track is thin highth wise in the timeline, the event icons will disappear. Hope this helps, Danny Hays

Try to auto-hide your task bar, and when it drops out
of view see if you can drag back up the missing window.
If that doesn’t work, try re-setting vegas by Holding
down the “control + shift” keys while launching vegas.Steve Rhoden

You can also temporarly set your computer monitor to 640 x 480, which will bring any hidden windows back into view, drag them to the center of the screen and set your screen res back to where it was. Some people lose windows the same way when using two monitors, then disconnecting one. Setting it to one display will show any windows hidden this way. Hope this helps, Danny Hays

This will probably sound stupid but how do I hide the task bar? I was told that you right click it and click properties and that it should be there but it’s not anywhere on mine?

right click the taskbar at bottom…click properties…and under
the “taskbar” tab tick “auto-hide the taskbar”
(on windows 7)…What are you using, XP or Win7?Steve Rhoden
