Had similar issues at times with my Vegas 10 Christopher.
I just simply continued using my rock solid version 9.0e
I hope the upcoming 10.0d update will bring you some relief.
But it could possibly be you have a clip on the timeline
that is corrupted or something, that is causing vegas to
crash.

Try naming each of the CD track region to
the title of the songs correspondingly
on the timeline….
Then see if it shoes whats playing while in WMP.

….Not really, Vegas handles CD Burning very, very
well. As a matter of fact im using it to burn some CD’s
right now.
Before testing on that particular CD player you are using,
play it back in the computer first and see if it plays well.
If it does, the CD player has a bit of an issue or has an issue
with that particular brand of CD.
But make sure first you are burning your tracks properly,
by even going thru the help menu.

If you experience glitches during playback in Vegas
from the timeline,that is ok.
What matters is the final render, do you still see
the glitches in all your final renders?
(You weren’t clear on this)

Yes, i know that the OFX interface is new and all that, but
Boris has always been touchy at best from as far back as i can
remember John….and the blame do belonged to Boris, not
necessarily Vegas.

And yes, when i mentioned “integration flaws” i was referring to
exactly Boris FX/Red and Graffiti.

Make absolutely sure the cd you have in the drive
when you want to burn, is blank and writable.
(can be a disc problem).

PS…I just use Vegas to Burn/rip all my CD tasks…..lol

(hmmmmm)…The development team over at Borix Effects needs
to seriously iron out the bugs and instability of their tools
a lot more…..They have great products, but instability and the
lack of a free flowing integration is its only flaw.
