The serial number is not gonna be located in the disc in an about section. The serial number should be located
somewhere in the packaging that you bought.
Best if you could go back in that old computer, open up the program and locate the serial number. Then download

Upgrading would be good yes, but your poor results is due to your render selections!
Have you tried the Sony AVC render template for mp4 output?
Or try searching and read up on the Vegas to Handbrake script for perfect H.264 output via Handbrake…Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)

You can simply apply another filter to color correct the result to get rid of the blue overcast, but i’m afraid the built in
Vegas keyer is not up to professional standards, what i use is Hitfilm Ignite Chroma Key filter, which is the best in

Porongus, Titles & Text has had a long standing bug bothering it, and its still not yet been corrected.
