License issue -have disc cut can’t put serial number in.
Hi
I have a purchasedsoftware DVD Sony movie studio hd 11. We got a new computer & I couldn’t find the DVD so I used a Trial version of Vegas until it ran out and then didn’t use it anymore. Today I found my original DVD and tried to install, however after choosing ‘run setup.exe it keeps telling me that the trial version has run out and if I want to continue I need to add a serial number. However installation DVD doesn’t state serial number on outside and I’ve looked through its menu but don’t understand where to get the serial number from. If it would let me get into the disc I could choose ‘about’ however I can’t get past the screen asking foe serial number.
Does anyone know how I locate my serial number?

The serial number is not gonna be located in the disc in an about section. The serial number should be located
somewhere in the packaging that you bought.
Best if you could go back in that old computer, open up the program and locate the serial number. Then download
