A long standing issue, however the issue is with youtube along with your uploading process!

Vegas 10 should not be giving you any worries to run it on what you have it on, So something is causing
some conflict somewhere. But my advice is to try to upgrade to a most recent version of Vegas.Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)

A solution that might work, is that whenever you are ready to do your final renders,
simply restart Vegas, load back your project and then start your rendering!Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)

Try using the Vegas to Handbrake Script and render out as mp4 through Handbrake:
