Yeah, Vegas Pro 18 has quite a bit more features and improvements than Vegas Pro 16, (cant get into all of them right now), thus you can be a lot more creative, accurate and faster in your edits. I actually end up dropping a few of my usual plugins as some of the new built in features are better.
Soundforge isn’t hard to learn at all, just import your audio and start poking around, in no time things start becoming clearer, (also as you hover over an effect it tells you what it is)…. But if you wanna go the other route as you mentioned, yes, Core FX can be used within Vegas Pro as a “vst Audio Plugin”, its available by itself on the website for purchase.
