Any audio above the +0dB line will be digitally distorted. You may not hear it but it would be there making it sound dirty.
If you want to boost certain frequency’s try reducing the overall level (normalize to a lower level), then you can boost the parts you want.

If I understand what your doing, and you are saving the audio out as an mp3 file correctly, it’s just the extension is mislabeled.
Using Windows Explorer find the file in question and right click on it and select rename. Change the extension to .mp3 and then try opening the file with Audition or just play the file.
If it doesn’t play, you do have a problem with Audition and you should reinstall.Steve

Where do you want to view the video from, DVD, hard drive (computer/TV), portable media player, YouTube?
AVI is just the container for the video file, you can choose most any codec you want with any resolution and compression level and have it named “.avi” It just needs to be compatible with your playback device.

to name a few.MP4 at 200mb for 6 minutes of footage equals 4gb for a 2 hour movie. Sounds like a good choice or you can use DivX or Xvid.

You need to set the audio card mixer (software) to record “what you here” or “wave” in the recording tab of the mixer. Then any audio recording program should be able record it.
Be aware that there are some radio or internet stations that may require you to install there program in order to listen to there broadcast. This could be set up so the home user could not record the stream, and they wont tell you so you’d just have to try it. Most do not though.

You may want to try Audacity, it’s multitrack recording software and it’s FREE. Soundbooth may not do what you want. I use Audition and it is similar to Audacity and would do what you want but why waste the money.

Slowing down the playback will make it deeper. It will slow the ticking down.

The easiest thing to do is try the Levelator, it’s free and is mainly for audio files with speech.
