  • Flip Ultra HD video jerky in preview.

I am new to this software so please be patient.
I have Vegas studio pro pack 9, Windows XP SP3, intel 3.2 ghz processor, and 4 gigs of ram. My problem is that I dragged a video I made on the Flip ultra HD video camera to the sony studio’s video timeline, and it is very jerky and out of time/sync with the audio track that accompanies it. My settings are the default settings when you create a new project.

I searched for existing threads on this subject but didn’t find any that were specific to this problem.

Does someone know why my video is so jerky?

I also tried different settings in preview such as; draft, good etc.
It had no change in that the video is extremely jerky and out of sync with it’s own video. The video itself will play fine when played through windows media player or the Flipshare software.
    HELP!

You might try FFDshow to use as a decompressor

    https://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow/

I use it with Vegas for decompressing the Video’s from my Vado (720P) and Xacti (1080P) cam’s.
