1. It could be your audio interface. render and playback on another device to confirm. try adjusting the buffer for the interface.
2. Do you see the crackles and pops in the wave form?

After you have changed the volume, hit V to hide the line again. Your changes are saved. It’s a feature, not a bug. Enjoy!

Can’t be done in edit mode but you can line them up one after another on separate tracks in MultiTrack mode and then mixdown.

If you have plenty of samples of the person speaking, you could try rearranging the words to make other sentences.

Obvious answer is to keep the Flip charging continuously or does it still shut down. Can’t you just hard wire it to keep it connected.

Sorry, I didn’t explain that well. I meant if you adjust the volume lower before rendering it out. Do you get similar results, as in a drop in the volume of the rendered file by a similar amount.
If you render the file out at a higher volume, closer to 0db peak or above. What is the output level like from that. I’m curious if there is some limiting or compression being applied.
